Where are trees planted?
Our planting sites are situated across Africa (Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique), Asia (Nepal, Philippines, Thailand), and South America (Brazil, Bolivia, Honduras). In some occasions, you can choose where your trees will be planted depending on the planting season. If you’d like to select a location, contact us before making your purchase.
Why those planting locations?
Trees capture CO₂ everywhere, but the impact is greater where ecosystems are fragile and communities need support. In Tanzania, we help rewild semidesert land in the Usambara Mountains. In Nepal, we plant around biodiversity hotspots to boost food and income security. In Thailand, we replace palm oil monocultures with native species, employing mostly local women. These locations are chosen for their urgency, ecological value, and social impact — not just to absorb CO₂, but to help nature and people thrive together. Who plants the trees?
Our trusted partner organizations focused on forest and landscape restoration in developing regions. They fight climate change and support local communities’ livelihoods. We back projects that prioritize quality, biodiversity, and social impact over just numbers, choosing partners that fit our strict criteria.
What kind of trees do you plant?
We plant native species chosen to support each local ecosystem. For exemple: Mangrove, African Yellow-Wood, African Cherry, Quinine Tree, Coastal Goldleaf, Forest Long-Pod, Peacock Flower, Water Berry, Mexican Weeping Pine, Croton Wood, and Nile Tulip. Each species plays a unique role in restoring biodiversity and helping communities thrive.
How do you choose tree species?
Our planting partner organizations work closely with local leaders, experts and communities to design strategies tailored to each region’s ecological and cultural needs. Over 300 indigenous species are chosen to boost biodiversity and ensure sustainable ecosystems and social benefits.
How does Pick N Plant align with CSRD and EU Taxonomy?
Pick N’ Plant directly supports environmental objectives defined by the EU Taxonomy — like climate change mitigation and protection of biodiversity — by funding concrete actions: litter collection and tree planting.

We provide detailed, verifiable impact reports with exact CO₂ absorbed, litter collected, plus geo-tagged photos and regular updates. This transparency fits seamlessly into company reporting frameworks. By working only with credible partners who meet these high standards, companies can confidently show their efforts are well-managed and aligned with CSRD and EU Taxonomy compliance.
Is my payment secure?
Yes, all donations are processed through Stripe, a globally trusted and secure payment platform. Your data and transactions are fully protected.
Can I donate from outside Luxembourg?
Yes, absolutely! We accept international donations and payments in any currency thanks to our secure payment partner, Stripe.
Are donations to CSFN tax-deductible?
Yes! If you’re a Luxembourg taxpayer, your donation to CSFN is tax-deductible, whether you’re an individual or a company, as long as:
Your total donations in the year amount to at least €120 (can be split over several donations).
The donation doesn’t exceed 20% of your net income or €1,000,000, whichever is lower.
You request and keep a donation receipt (“attestation de don”) issued by us.
We’re officially recognized as a SIS (Société d’Impact Sociétal) with 100% impact shares, serving the public interest. Your support makes a difference and helps reduce your taxes.
