🗑️ 75 Lts (3 bags)
Welcome to our series on global cleanups, where we shine a spotlight on individuals making a significant impact. Today, we’re inspired by Mrs. Nina Kraviz, who has taken an authentic and proactive stance against litter at Olkhon Island, Baikal, Russia. Armed with purpose to make things better, Nina collected 75 liters of trash (equivalent to three bags) in just one excursion.
“There are things beyond our control, but much is in our hands,” asserts Nina. Her hour-long journey around Khuzhir resulted in three bags full of assorted waste, highlighting the critical condition of our natural habitats. Nina’s actions remind us that if each of us takes responsibility, we can protect and preserve natural wonders like Lake Baikal.
“We can’t continue like this. It’s time to initiate change, starting with our mindset,” Nina urges. This cleanup is more than just picking up trash; it’s about fostering a global responsibility towards our only planet. Nina’s dedication is a call to action for all of us to join in the fight for a cleaner, litter-free world.”
