The “Lëtz Clean Stengefort” initiative is our commitment to a cleaner environment. Our actions today have the power to create a healthier community and a more environmentally friendly future for our children. We don’t just want to tackle the issue of littering, but above all, to build a community that cares and actively works together with the municipality for a cleaner environment.
Why are we doing this?
📍 In Luxembourg 1.6 kg of wild waste is collected per capita per year.
🛣️ 100 to 200 kg of waste per kilometer is collected along national roads each year. (Read report here)
💰 In Luxembourg, cleaning the roadside costs about 1.2 million euros per year.
🐠 By 2050, there could be more plastic than fish in the ocean (80% of it coming from land-based source)

Join the “Lëtz Clean Stengefort” Challenge! Together, we can fight littering with the CSFN (Clean Something for Nothing) app:

Have you spotted an illegal dumpsite or a lot of waste in a public area? Report it via the CSFN app!
