Le 16/09/2025 nous avons collecté 28 kg de déchets dont 10,5kg recyclables (valorlux/mégots). Selon l’Administration de l’Environnement du Luxembourg, les services de nettoyage municipaux collectent 1,6 kg de déchets par habitant chaque année. Nous avons ramassé l’équivalent d’un an de littering de 17 personnes.
Parmi les déchets, nous avons ramassé environ 1200 mégots de cigarettes (7 litres). Chaque mégot contient environ 7000 substances chimiques pouvant contaminer jusqu’à 1000 litres d’eau par mégot. Ce nettoyage a potentiellement empêché la pollution de 1 200 000 litres d’eau! Ces mégots auraient mis entre 10 et 15 ans à se décomposer, tout en libérant des microplastiques toxiques dans l’environnement.
