The Climate Reality
We can’t eliminate emissions overnight. Even with the best efforts; emissions from logistics, operations and digital activity won’t vanish overnight. That’s why planting trees isn’t a nice-to-have, but essential.
Trees capture and store CO₂, buying us the time we need to accelerate the transition to low-carbon systems. Offsetting isn’t an excuse to delay action. It’s a bridge between today’s reality and tomorrow’s solutions.
As an example: a human emits 14 tons of CO₂ during their lifetime just from breathing — which can be offset with 14 trees. This gives a clear scale of what’s achievable now.
More Than Carbon
Planting trees restores life at every level.
They clean the air, filter water, prevent floods, stabilize soil, and create microclimates that support wildlife. One acre of trees produces enough oxygen for 12 people per year. Leaf litter feeds the soil, while roots prevent erosion and purify groundwater.
In forest-adjacent regions, families often depend on trees for up to 28% of their income — through food, tools and medicine. Forests support biodiversity and build economic resilience.
Where we plant
We plant trees where they’re most needed: degraded land, biodiversity hotspots and reforestation priority zones.
We work with local groups in countries like Kenya, Nepal, Mozambique or Honduras. All projects use native species and follow strong ecological standards. Some focus on mangroves, others on mountainous or tropical systems.
Each site is selected based on ecological urgency and community involvement. Not all projects are third-party certified, but all follow internationally recognized carbon removal standards and are monitored with robust CO₂ tracking tools. OneSeed balances the rigor of certification with the agility to act where it’s most needed.
Why it Works
Our tree planting is a way to connect with nature, people and values.
You can sponsor trees through customer actions (purchases, challenges, etc.) or fund bulk plantings as part of CSR or ESG goals. Many companies now include these actions in annual sustainability reports. Either way, it builds trust, engages your audience and gives real, reportable impact.

Our Difference
Most tree-planting programs begin with a transaction. Ours begins with citizen-action.
Before we plant trees, we pick up litter. Through our community-driven app, we remove trash from natural spaces; beaches, rivers, forests, and city parks — and track each and every bag. Once that bag is logged, a tree is funded.
This double impact is what sets Pick N’ Plant apart. Every €3 funds the removal of 1 kg of litter and the planting of 1 tree.
It’s a simple equation, but reflects a powerful mindset shift: we don’t restore nature by outsourcing responsibility — we do it by taking action, together, united.
Transparent
You need to know your investment is real. For every tree planted, you’ll see the total number funded, hectares restored, tree species used, CO₂ captured, and labour hours generated. Your sponsored forest appears on an interactive satellite map with exact locations, planting dates, and photo proof — including functional benefits like erosion control, biodiversity restoration and support for endangered species
You’ll know where your trees are planted, how many kilos of waste were removed, and what kind of impact your contribution made.
