Last month we met Mr. Alejandro, the amazing person behind @trashtrekking 🙋‍♂️ We spent the morning trekking in Casabermeja and visited old rock paintings. On the way back we finished up with a cleanup♻️. I learnt so many things from him, let’s know more from his own words: 🗣💬

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗸𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴?
Trashtrekking is a way to motivate trekking enthusiasts and nature lovers to leave the trails in a better or equal condition as they found them. It promotes a responsible lifestyle, similar to plogging. All you need is to carry a bag of trash and a pair of gloves in your backpack

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁?
It’s important because trash doesn’t belong in our ecosystem. We don’t know how long it can persist or harm our 🌍. It doesn’t matter how much you pick up; what really matters is making small efforts to achieve the change we hope for. Through trashtrekking, you remove the garbage while enjoying and improving the trails
